Tottenham Hotspur are rolling out the open-top bus today, Friday 23 May 2025, to celebrate their 1-0 Europa League triumph over Manchester United—the club’s first piece of silverware in 17 years and first European title since 1984. Below is everything you need to know if you’re planning to join the party in north London.

How Spurs Ended a 17-Year Wait

A single Brennan Johnson goal in Bilbao brought the Europa League home and booked Spurs’ return to the Champions League. Manager Ange Postecoglou called it “a massive moment for everyone connected with the club,” and the players want to share that moment on home soil.

Parade timeline (all times BST)

Time	What’s happening	Where
15:00	Parade begins	Edmonton Green Shopping Centre (bus departs Market Square)
15:05 – 15:30	Fore Street stretch	Fans line both pavements; good early vantage point

Travel and road-closure advice

Rail/Overground: Edmonton Green, Silver Street, Bruce Grove and White Hart Lane all sit on the route. White Hart Lane will be exceptionally busy—consider alighting at Edmonton Green or Silver Street and walking south.
Roads: High Road, Lansdowne Road, Willoughby Lane and Northumberland Park close from 13:00 until crowds disperse (likely after 18:30). Buses on routes 149, 259 and W3 are on diversion.
Accessible viewing: A dedicated zone for disabled supporters is opposite the South Stand stage; stewards will direct you.

Who to watch for

Expect captain Son Heung-min front-and-centre with the trophy, alongside Brennan Johnson, James Maddison, teenage midfielder Archie Gray and keeper Guglielmo Vicario. Postecoglou and his staff will join them on stage for a short Q&A hosted by club legend Ledley King.

Fancy a flutter on next season?

Early Champions League odds have already landed on major sportsbooks. Market leaders Ladbrokes, Betfair and William Hill rate Spurs as dark horses, while newer names like BetUK and casino-styled Funky Jackpot are rolling out parade-themed promotions. Always gamble responsibly.

Final checklist

Arrive early: the club expects match-day-sized crowds.
Dress for the weather: showers are forecast after 17:00.
Bring a contactless card: many local stalls are cashless.
Listen to stewards: they’ll guide you to less-crowded spots if pavements fill.

Whether you squeeze onto Fore Street for the first glimpse or gather outside the South Stand for the trophy lift, today’s parade is your chance to savour a moment two decades in the making. Wave a scarf, sing a chorus of “Oh When the Spurs,” and—who knows—maybe place an optimistic punt on what Postecoglou’s side might do next season. Enjoy the ride.
